Individuals have the right to request access to their personal information held by the Society and to request corrections if that information is inaccurate or incomplete.

Personal information may be stored in electronic systems operated by the Society and by third-party service providers.

The Society’s website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, which provides the infrastructure for website hosting, forms, and database storage.

Personal information may therefore be stored or processed in secure systems operated by Wix or other service providers. These systems may be located outside of British Columbia or Canada, including in the United States.

Service providers are required to protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

The Society retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy and to comply with legal or reporting requirements.

When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

The Society treats its obligations regarding the use and disclosure of personal information very seriously.
