A peer-led support group is a safe(r)* and supportive space facilitated by individuals with lived experience in mental health challenges. These groups focus on sharing personal stories, fostering active listening, offering mutual support without advice-giving, and creating a sense of connection and understanding within the community.
* We use the term "safe(r)" instead of "safe" to acknowledge that no space can guarantee complete safety for everyone. Our facilitators are trained to provide support with compassion and understanding, drawing from their own lived experiences.
Our general group is open to any adult looking for support, while our student group is tailored to the unique challenges faced by college and university students. The Early Psychosis Peer Recovery Network group is intended for clients who are currently or have recently accessed an Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program. Both groups are inclusive and welcoming to anyone seeking a supportive community.

Some facilitators bring additional training or education in fields such as social work, psychology, or counselling, enhancing the supportive and therapeutic environment. The guide discussions, provide support, and foster a respectful and inclusive space for all participants.
