We are excited to share that The Kaleidoscope Mental Health Support Society has received $6,000 in community funding from Lululemon Athletica to support peer-led yoga programming for our community.

This funding will allow Kaleidoscope to offer free yoga classes for youth and young adults recovering from psychosis, particularly those connected to Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) services in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. Programs like this help expand access to peer support, recovery-oriented mental health care, and community-based supports for early psychosis.

This initiative also reflects Kaleidoscope’s broader work supporting young people connected to early psychosis communities, including through partnerships and peer networks such as the Early Psychosis Peer Recovery Network (EPPRN).

With this support, we will:

  • Deliver free peer-led yoga classes

  • Co-facilitate sessions with certified yoga teachers who have lived experience of psychosis

  • Offer peer-led discussions following each class to explore mental wellbeing and holistic wellness

By creating community spaces that complement clinical services, Kaleidoscope helps ensure that recovery support extends beyond the healthcare system and into everyday life.

We are deeply grateful to Lululemon for recognizing the importance of accessible, community-rooted mental health supports and for investing in innovative approaches that strengthen recovery communities.
